Improving Vietnam is founded by Mrs. Nguyen, a high school teacher who, together with her family and friends, is dedicated to supporting vulnerable communities in Vietnam. What began as a personal journey of compassion has grown into a mission of hope, focused on uplifting orphans, the elderly, and individuals with disabilities who are too often left without support.
Born in Ho Chi Mih City, Mrs. Nguyen and her family fled Vietnam by boat, seeking refuge in Hong Kong before immigrating to the United States. In 1995, as a high school student, she returned to Vietnam for the first time. Witnessing the struggles of children without access to education, elders without care, and patients unable to afford medical treatment deeply moved her and sparked her lifelong commitment to making a difference.
For the past several years, Mrs. Nguyen and her family have returned to Vietnam to donate food, school supplies, and resources to orphanages, hospitals, and temples caring for the elderly and people with disabilities. Along the way, she has inspired family, friends, and supporters to join in this effort, proving that collective compassion can change lives.
