At Cho Ray Hospital in Ho Chi Minh City, we are humbled to provide support to 600 cancer patients and their family members. Unlike many hospitals in the United States, patients and their caregivers in Vietnam are not provided with meals during their stay. Families often travel long distances from rural villages, arriving in the city with few resources, no place to stay, and little money for food.
Through this initiative, we provide nourishing meals for a day, along with nominal financial support — 500,000 VND (~$20 USD) for each patient and 100,000 VND (~$4 USD) for their caregivers — to help cover basic necessities or urgent needs. While we could not ease every burden, we hope to bring a moment of comfort, dignity, and relief during their difficult journey. Your generosity makes this possible. Together, we can continue reaching more patients and families facing these hardships, reminding them they are not alone.
